Would you guess by looking at this cake that it's Vegan? The cake is made with soy milk, egg replacer and vegan buttery sticks. It's a vanilla vegan birthday cake decorated with vegan vanilla (homemade) buttercream. I replaced the butter with vegan buttery sticks.

Introducing Vegan Cakes and Vegan Buttercream!
I was contacted by someone who wanted to know if I could make a vegan cake. I had never made a vegan cake but after looking at recipes I realized that making a vegan cake was fairly simple.
This is the website that I found while looking up recipes. http://www.vrg.org/recipes/vegancakes.htm By using these three ingredients as replacements of milk, eggs and butter I was able to make a really good vanilla vegan cake.

For the vanilla buttercream icing - I used Wilson's Buttercream recipe and used the Vegan Buttery Sticks and water instead of milk.
Due to the higher cost of materials Vegan cakes will cost an extra $5 or an extra $10 for a sheet cake.

A Pink & Green 1st Birhday with Matching Smash Bear
This adorable cake was made to match the birthday decorations (of which I've included a picture of). It was for a little girl's 1st birthday. It's a vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream decorated with vanilla buttercream fondant (homemade of course)!

Ice Age!
This was the most challenging cake I've ever made but turned out to be much easier than I expected! The characters are made out of modeling chocolate and rice crispy treats (I bought snack packs rather than making my own).
Both tiers of this cake is vanilla cake with filled with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries. The cake is covered in vanilla buttercream and my homemade vanilla buttercream fondant.

Lego Cake
This Lego cake was for a little girl's 9th birthday. She wanted a Lego cake and after looking at some designs this is what she liked best! The cake is marble cake with vanilla buttercream covered with vanilla buttercream fondant.
Angry Birds for a 4th Birthday!
This Angry Birds cake was so much fun to make. I have recently ventured out into the world of modeling chocolate and I love working with it! The birds are made out of white modeling chocolate. The bottom layer of the cake is marble cake with chocolate buttercream. The top tier of the cake is chocolate cake with coconut buttercream. I also made two dozen matching cupcakes that were decorated with vanilla buttercream.
