What a fun cake to make - yes, I know I say that about ALL of the cakes I make. One thing I LOVE about being the Fairy Cake Mother is that it's rare that I made the same cake twice!
This is a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream covered in homemade vanilla buttercream fondant & edible glitter!

Minnie Mouse Birthday for my daughter!
I made two cakes for my daughter who turned two this weekend! She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & Minnie Mouse.
This is a chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream covered in vanilla buttercream fondant.
Bottom tier is 1 layer vanilla and 1 layer chocolate filled with vanilla buttercream. Top tier is vanilla cake filled with blueberry buttercream.
Both cakes are covered with homemade vanilla buttercream fondant & are a example that sometimes simple is better!
Mother's Day Lilacs - Take 2!
Last year I made a Mother's Day cake decorate with lilacs and this year I got an order for a similar cake. This cake was covered with vanilla buttercream fondant & is a lemon cake with blueberry buttercream.
Airport Firetruck Retirement Cake
This cake was for a civilian member of the VT Air National Guard Firefighter at Burlington International Airport. He has retired after 42 years of service! This is a cake to feed 80 people - a 2 layer sheet cake. It is chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing.
The Chocolate cake batter - as usual - I sprinkled mini chocolate chips on the top!
