A Princess's Castle Birthday Cake

This cake was made for a little girl who turned 4 on 12/26. She (as do most little girl) loves princesses so I made her this princess castle cake for her. It's a vanilla butter cake with vanilla buttercream icing. Although it's a shaped cake (which normally aren't filled) I cut it in half & filled it with pink buttercream.

Christmas Birthday Cake

This was a cake that I made for my family. Every Christmas we have a birthday cake for Jesus since Christmas is the day we celebrate his birth. I wanted to keep the design simple but meaningful. I found a website (see below) that had an object lesson for a Christmas cake. This one uses some of those ideas but I decided to decorate it with poinsettias as they are look like a star & are red & candy canes as the story of the candy cane is a symbolic one.

Chocolate Guinness Cake with Bailey's Buttercream - Diva Style!

This was a cake I made for one of my best girl friends (who was a maid of honor in my wedding) 35th birthday. She loves Coach, wine, has perfect hair & make up & likes a little bit of "bling"! I incorporated some of her birthday presents into her cake. It was yet another fun cake to make!

The little cake was vanilla with Bailey's Buttercream & the big cake was Chocolate Guinness cake with Bailey's Buttercream!

Real lipstick, perfume, wine stopper, sunglasses & a shot glass from my honeymoon in Jamaica!

Bass Guitar Birthday Cake

This was another fun cake to make. It's a Triple Chocolate Fudge cake with peanut buttercream icing. It is decorated with my homemade vanilla buttercream fondant.
