PINK cupcakes!

A special little girl turned 3 this weekend & her request was to have pink cupcakes! Her mom thought that strawberry would be the way to go. I made 18 french vanilla cupcakes & filled them with fresh, organic VT strawberry jam & topped them with strawberry buttercream frosting (made with the same jam). I also made 18 triple chocolate cupcakes topped with the buttercream icing. No decorations were necessary as the were beautiful as is!

A Very Winnie The Pooh 1st Birthday!

Everyone loves Winnie the Pooh & what's better for a 1st birthday than a Winnie The Pooh 3D smash cake? To accompany the smash cake I make a 12"x12" two layer butter cake with vanilla buttercream filling decorated with a Winnie the Pooh scene. The smash cake was vanilla pound with vanilla buttercream frosting. I also made some chocolate cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream frosting.
