If you love coffee & chocolate than a cake like this is for you! A chocolate cake filled with a smooth & creamy mocha butter cream, and then frosted with mocha butter cream icing. A wonderful cake that can be decorated anyway  you would like - lots of flowers for your favorite woman in your life, or something like below for that special guy!

Character & Shaped Cakes

Character cakes are so much fun to make & children (& adults) love them! Wilton makes some awesome character cake pans. The cakes are just a single layer cake (without a filling) and are covered in buttercream icing (with your choice of flavor). The possibilities are unlimited with these cake pans. Think Spring!

March has arrived. Although here in VT it doesn't feel that way, that doesn't mean that we can't get into the spring mood. This is a 6", 2 layer, lemon cake with vanilla buttercream icing. The flowers are also buttercream. A design like this would be great for Mother's Day (hint, hint)!
